GOe3 Launches first Universal Charging Station Route from Phoenix to Tucson Signaling The End of ‘Range Anxiety’

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) May 18, 2015

Scottsdale-based company helping to ease EV owners’ range anxiety

Electric vehicle owners can now turn their range anxiety into range confidence, with the unveiling of the first universal charging station route from Phoenix to Tucson, as part of a planned roll-out through America.

GOe3, a Scottsdale, Arizona-based company connecting America through coast-to-coast EV quick charging stations, unveiled the first that will accommodate all makes of electric vehicles, including Tesla, Leaf and The Volt. The universal route is the first in the U.S. The universal stations are combination units incorporating both Level 2 and Level 3 quick charging with both CHAdeMO and SAE standards.

GOe3 CEO Bruce Brimacombe in a kickoff event at the State Capitol in Phoenix, underscored the importance of electric vehicles and the positive environmental impact EVs are making as they gain in popularity, which set a fleet of charged electric vehicles heading south on Interstate 10 to Tucson, stopping at charging stations along the way. Participating stations in the initial route include: Chevron Station, Casa Grande; Picacho Peak Plaza, Picacho Peak; and AM/PM Tucson, Ariz.

“These universal chargers are the first in a nationwide network that we have planned,” Brimacombe said. “Universal chargers from the Pacific to the Atlantic are good for the nation’s economy.”

As the number of electric vehicles and EV vehicle makers increase in the U.S., a new phrase entered the EV owner’s lexicon: Range Anxiety. The expression identifies the fears of EV owners that the growing but very limited infrastructure of charging stations could leave them abandoned on the side of the road. Also, due to the scarce number of charging stations that only accommodate particular makes of electric vehicles, certain destinations may not reachable with an electric vehicle. GOe3’s mission is to connect America by demonstrating the viability of electric vehicles. Its proprietary EV Fast Charge Station design is providing coast-to-coast infrastructure needed to support electric vehicles, the future of automobile travel.

GOe3 to Celebrate Earth Day in Dallas

Where is the largest Earth Day celebration in the U.S.? Dallas might not be the first place that comes to mind, but then Texans love to surprise us.

This year the Earth Day Texas (EDTx) celebration will utilize approximately 750,000 square feet of both indoor and outdoor event space. EDTx’s footprint will easily accommodate the 1,000 exhibitors and 75,000 guests anticipated to attend this year’s event.

GOe3 will be there as an exhibitor and just to take in the sights and meet people interested in saving the planet. CEO Bruce Brimacombe will be on hand to discuss GOe3’s technology and projects, along with an entourage off staff and supporters. We’ll be shooting video there and should come back with plenty of great shots off a great event.

We’ll hope to see y’all there.
